Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ali graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in English Literature and Constitutional Studies.

Ali moved west to Oregon where she attended Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, for the purposes of taking the Crime Victim Litigation Clinic and working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. She also volunteered with the National Crime Victim Law Institute during her three years Lewis & Clark Law School.

During her time in law school, Ali worked for the King County Office of Equity and Social Justice where she provided investigation of civil rights violations and discrimination claims. She also worked for a public defender, where she primarily assisted with the representation of incarcerated women in post-conviction relief matters.

Ali’s practice is focused on the representation of those who suffered abuse and neglect as a result of the failures of the Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and Child Protective Services (CPS)

In her spare time, Ali enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and cooking.
